Finley and his mom, Mareeca live and love in the great state of Utah. Sired by our Dexter and born to Athena, Finley is Mareeca's roomate and BFF. Looks like they have fun. Don't they?

We decided to name him “Picasso” since he looks like one of Picasso’s abstract paintings. He is a gem! Great personality, loving, fun, playful and adapting to his new situation very quickly. Ronin lives in Fontana with his 3 other furbrothers and fursisters. He is so excited as he is getting a new human sibling soon!
Joey and Chandler are litter mates from an Athena and Dexter litter. They just got groomed and are 7 mos. old in this pic. Handsome dudes!
Darla is from a Breeze and Dexter litter. She lives in Beautiful San Diego with her family.
R. J. is the only cream abstract Standard we have ever had. Born to Cocoa last year, R.J. lives in San Diego with Marc and Lynn. Marc wrote: "R.J. is doing great. Constantly keeping me amused. He is such a good boy, he's got such a great heart and old spirit. He's my shadow and companion everywhere."
Katie is from our most recent litter of Athena and Dexter. Her new owners took her to church with them the day after the took her home. She did so well while they were working in the nursery first service, they took her into the sanctuary with them where she was, "quiet as a mouse" Not there's a testament to the temperament of these pups!! Also good work Debbie and Roy. Socialization is SO important in helping to make a great dog!
Pretty Penny lives in Ventura and is a daughter of our Dexter and Meadow born in July 2016. She is getting so grown up! Here she is with her apron on helping her mom bake cookies. She is talented!
Phoenix is from Tootsies (since retired) and Chance (owned by Hidden Meadows Poodles) litter. She is a petite and sweet princess that is cherished by her family. She lives in Murrieta, CA.
Ava and Aurora quickly became best friends. A loving pup from Athena's litter.
Bogey lives in Redondo Beach with his human parents and big brother, "Festus", a white Standard Poodle. He was born here last Feb. to our Cocoa.
Another example of remarkable phantom coloring bred her at Reeses Pieces Poodles. Oliver lives with his human, Karen in San Diego. She loves taking him on outings with the Standard Poodle Social Club of San Diego.
Angus lives with the Johnson family in Southern Calif. As you can see here, he is much loved and a member of the family. He is a big boy and so handsome!
Stella has been doing great! Everywhere I go people stop us like she's a celebrity or something. Lol I am sooooo happy to be her mommy. So quickly she learned sit, stay and down. She's amazing! We start our puppy obedience class at the end of the month. So excited to see how she does. Thanks Janet so much for my beautiful girl!

Winter is a pup from our Beloved Tootsie and Chance, (owned by Hidden Meadows) The Namsung family reports that she goes everywhere with them. I don't even think we need words to express how much she is loved!
Comet lives down by the beach in Calif. with the Quintero family. Here he is all decked out in his reindeer ears, ready for Christmas.

Jazz is another Reese and Taz pup. He is owned by Coco who is a trainer for Little Angels Service Dogs. She trains for them but wanted her own therapy dog and Jazz has been delighting her with his temperament since she got him. Here he is with his little friend, Zuri.

Oliver
Oliver was born on Oct 6, 2012. Now belongs to Susan Tucker but is in training with Linda Hardy to become Susan's mobility service dog. He is so smart and LOVING his new job. Best of luck to this new team.

Stanley was named after the Stanley cup, the year the Kings won it. The Kuwata's are big King's fans and on a trip to the arena, workers were so impressed with Stanley's looks and demeanor, they let him in to get a picture with his namesake.

Precious
Precious belongs to Tom and Helen Pietrzak and their daughter Jamie. This pic absolutely captures her personality. Loves everyone, super smart and watches tv with Jamie by the hour! She doesn't just lay there with her, She literally watches it! The following is an update from Helen:
Precious is a wonderful, loving dog and so smart she has now become both a registered service dog and a certified therapy dog. She loves going to the library for the "Read to Me" program as well as visiting at local senior and convalescent homes. Wanted to give you an update of Giovanni since his birthday is coming up. He's a loving, playful, handsome boy that is making his rounds in Downtown LA. Everyone knows him as the fabulous poodle with the Afro. He's well loved and identified by many in our neighborhood. He has also been asked on more than a couple of occasions to jump in on photo shoots and was asked to be shot for a B-roll for a reality tv show being taped :) Hope all is well and hope u enjoy these faces of Giovanni!Gretchen
Lu Lu
Lu Lu was born in our first litter with Reese and Riley. She was purchased by Guide Dogs of the Desert and entered into the "Seeing Eye" dog program in December of 2008. She is known has a very obedient and confident girl. We are blessed to get semi annual updates on her progress and look forward to hearing more about her future successes.
Update on 07-19-2010: Received a letter from Guide Dogs of the Desert: "Great News! 'Lu Lu has passed hr final xrays and exam to enter the breeding program. These dogs are hand selected by Guide Dogs of the Desert, so we can continue giving our blind clients the best guide dogs that we can."

Godis, 6 mos old. Living in San Francisco, Ca with Sonny and Tommy
This is Tommy and Sonny. We had the pleasure to bring Godis home with us about
two months ago. They've gone by so fast and Godis is growing to be such a
beautiful dog. I just wanted to send an e-mail to show some pictures of him and
a little update on how he is doing.
Ever since we brought him back to
San Francisco we haven't been able to do a single full walk without people
stopping us to ask what breed he is and comment on how gorgeous he is. He really
is the little gem of San Francisco. He's an incredibly fast learner and he's
become very attached to me and Sonny. He's still mellow except for when one of
us comes home or when he gets to say hi to another dog or person. Then he really
gets excited!
I go to a very small, dog friendly school so I've been
bringing him to school with me where he's become the big favorite (he's also the
only dog who hasn't had a single accident indoors) among all the other
students.

Louey's owner has some bad experiences with breeders of other breeds ,so it was especially important to me to show him a GREAT representation of the Standard Poodle. Louey has more than done that job. His owner adores him!

Onyx
Onyx is another puppy born in June 2008 and was purchased by Guide Dogs of the Desert. He is being raised and handled by the puppy development manager. She is raising him to be a future stud dog for thier breeding program. Here he is playing in the snow, which he loves by the way.
Update on Onyx, 07-08-10: Onyx has proven to be of superior quality and has passed all physical and mental tesing to become a sire of future Guide Dogs for the Blind. He has already sired one litter of puppies. We are so proud of him!

02-23-13 Update. Ran into 5 black poodles at the Pasadena grooming and kennel convention. They sported Guide Dogs of the Desert vests. I started talking to them and much to my surprise, they were all Sons of Onyx and grandbabies to my Reese. Needless to say, I was proud as could be that Reese's Piece Poodles played a part in starting the Standard Poodle line for Guide Dogs of the Desert!

Thank you so much for the (baby) pictures of Isabella or "Izzy" as we call her. She has adjusted remarkably well in her new home with her new best friend, our black and white kitty, Willow. I took her to the vets today and of course she was the cutest dog there. As expected the vet gave her a clean bill of health and a schedule for her upcoming shots. I have attached some pictures but they aren't great, as you know, by the time you get ready to take them she has moved.
I will update you periodically with photos but just to say we are ecstatic with her. We love her temperament and can see she is really smart.

classes and doing well. Enjoys going to work and greeting the customers,
actually have customers that just come to visit him…He is such a ham!!! Everyone
says he is sooo handsome and that he knows it.
He has been such a wonderful addition to our family added
fun, entertainment and joy to our everyday lives. Today we took a new hike
along a stream and he couldn’t resist jumping in, took all of us by surprise
including Corbee!!! He was a little confused about his choices but recovered
quickly.
